Outreach Staff

Susan Holt is the Director of The Ivymount School and Ivymount Outreach, only the third director in the School's history. Susan served as the Director of Ivymount's Autism Program from 1997-2014, and has been a member of the school's senior leadership and management team since 1994.  Susan is well known in the special education community for her professional expertise in program development and supervision based on evidence based practices.  Ivymount families highly regard her for her focus on serving individuals with autism and her exhaustive efforts to ensure that our students are active and productive members of our community.  Susan earned a BA from George Mason University and an MA in Psychological Services/Counseling from Marymount University.  She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over two decades of experience working in schools and home settings.  Susan has worked in homes, public and private schools as well as community settings as a therapist and consultant. Susan also directs and provides ABA services, training and consultation to families, agencies and professionals with our Endeavors Program.


CWCarolyn Leskowitz Woodham is the Ivymount Outreach Administrative Director and the Recreational Program Director. Carolyn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a certified Special Education Teacher.  Carolyn has worked at Ivymount School since 2001, starting in the Autism Program as an ABA technician and transitioning to Head Teacher and then moving to the Multiple Learning Needs Program as a Program Supervisor. Carolyn’s areas of interest include supporting teachers in applying the principles of behavior analysis to instruction in the classroom and utilizing behavioral techniques to increase desired behaviors in the areas of school readiness, academics, social skills, and functional life skills for students with developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and speech and language impairments.



Jenny Engel is the Acting Program Director for Early Childhood Education and ABA In Home programming.  She has been working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum since 2001. Before coming to Ivymount in 2014, Jenny worked at The New England Center for Children in Massachusetts, where she worked across a variety of ages, abilities and service delivery models. Jenny has her masters in Special Education from Simmons College and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.   Jenny enjoys working as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure that students and families are provided with the supports and services they  need to make progress and be successful.


Katie Quinn is the Professional Services Director and Program Director for the Elementary/Middle Autism Program. She started her career in Special Education in Ivymount’s Autism Program in 2009 and has worked in a variety of roles at Ivymount Corporation since then. She also worked as a Program Director at FirstSteps for Kids, an early-intervention ABA agency in the San Francisco Bay Area. Katie has worked with clients aged 18 months to 21 years across a variety of functioning levels. Katie has a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia. She earned her Master’s in Special Education from George Mason University, with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and severe disabilities. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and she is licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland. Her professional interests include function-based assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, professional development of staff, and transdisciplinary approaches to educational programming. She is proud of her team’s child centered focus across all aspects of treatment.


Ashley Dunphy is the Ivymount Outreach Program Support Specialist. In 2013, Ashley received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Before joining the Ivymount team in the fall of 2017, Ashley worked as a teaching assistant at the Faison Center in Richmond, VA and was a Registered Behavior Technician providing in-home 1:1 ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ashley is excited to be a new member of the Ivymount Outreach team as she shares a strong passion for helping others and serving the community.


Shana Rodriguez is the Ivymount Outreach Recreational Program Coordinator. Shana started working in the animal behavior field in 2001. In 2014, she transitioned her career to working with children with autism. She started working at Ivymount School in the Autism Program as an ABA technician and worked as a Lead ABA Therapist for Ivymount Endeavors In-Home Programming. In 2017, she finished her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis with a certificate in autism and received her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  Shana’s areas of interest include working with parents, teachers, and students integrating principles of behavior analysis to create an environment where students can learn new skills and have fun too.
